Ok let me get straight to the point. Here’s the rub: that view is the real star with panoramic views of Ibiza city.
The food? It had me contemplating.. what is the role of personal preference? Is food ever objectively good or bad? Leaving a place with such doubts dancing circles in your mind? Not a good sign.
Some will say it’s a transformative, luxury experience. But to me? It felt lazy. A leek dish masked under layers of sweet‑and‑salty drizzles and emulsions until you forget what leek tastes like. In itself the leek was cooked beautifully, but I saw toppings and sauces dominate rather than respect the base ingredients. Just not my thing.
Let me give you another one. Beautifully marinated bell peppers, delicious. But why is there black salt on top? What's wrong with regular finishing salt..? To me it feels showy and I like pureness, respect for ingredients and cooking in its humblest form. And this is not that.
So, view? Beautiful. Service? Good. Food? Meh, fine, but not special.. and definitely not worth the kind of bill they’ll drop on you... if you'd ask me, that is ;)
